Former DJGA player through many years, winner of national and international titles and national team player on the Danish National team. Player at UTEP Miners College golf program, and winner of several titles in US College golf.
The most exciting thing about being a part of DJGA was being part of such a unique environment, supported by highly skilled coaches, where everyone made each other better, while creating friends for life.
I received so many great advice throughout my time in DJGA, and the best one was probably to have a clear purpose every time you go to practice and play.
Again, I learned a lot from my time in DJGA, and the best thing I learned was that whether it’s in golf or life, you can’t do everything alone, and having great people, players, and coaches around you is possibly the most important part of becoming better.
An advice I would give to a young DJGA player would be to try and have fun with the process every day, knowing that not all days are going to be easy. Also, compare your game to yourself instead of others because no one’s process looks the same.

For me it was to become part of a group of players who all wanted to be the best. You get motivated and inspired to work harder and get better when you’re surrounded by and practice and play with so many talented players and coaches.
Skip the bad excuses and take accountability of your own progress. We learned things that were not only applicable to our golf game but also some great lessons for life outside of golf.
I learned a lot of things from being a part of DJGA and it’s difficult to single out what was the best. For me it was the package, we learned so many things and skills which prepared me for the national team, playing collegiate, in school and now in my work life.
Give it your all, commit to it, learn as much as you can while you’re there and treasure the time. You might think you miss out on some things, but you have the chance to gain so much which you will have with you going forward.

Definitely all the practice camps. It was so just to wake up early in the morning and practice all day with no concerns or thoughts of being anywhere else.
Oh that’s tough, they said a lot of great stuff, but Peter said once “Stay true to yourself and your goals”.
They taught me to be structured, to set goals, be patient and do everything to be the best version of myself!
Just listening to what the coaches say. Be open for any kind of advice and most importantly – be humble and practice hard!

The most exciting thing about being a part of DJGA was practicing with some of the best players in the country in an environment led by coaches with a lot of knowledge of the game.
The best advice I got from my coaches in DJGA was that I should vary my practice and practice in difficult conditions (e.g. Try to hit high and soft chip shots from divots).
The best thing I learned from DJGA was that difficult practice is the most fun and rewarding practice.
My advice to a young DJGA player would be enjoying the effort of getting better. As a golfer and as a sportsperson in general, most of the hours of your every day is spent practicing, because you want to get better. Your first priority should be to enjoy these hours. What I miss about being a golfer is not winning or playing well, it is practicing as hard as possible to reach a specific goal in mind (e.g. A tiny part of my body’s movement).
