Former DJGA player through many years, winner of national and international titles and national team player on the Danish National team.

What was the most exciting thing about being a part of the DJGA?

The most exciting thing about being a part of DJGA was practicing with some of the best players in the country in an environment led by coaches with a lot of knowledge of the game.

What was the best advice you got from your coaches in DJGA?

The best advice I got from my coaches in DJGA was that I should vary my practice and practice in difficult conditions (e.g. Try to hit high and soft chip shots from divots).

What was the best thing you learned from DJGA?

The best thing I learned from DJGA was that difficult practice is the most fun and rewarding practice.

If you should give advice to a young DJGA player what would that be?

My advice to a young DJGA player would be enjoying the effort of getting better. As a golfer and as a sportsperson in general, most of the hours of your every day is spent practicing, because you want to get better. Your first priority should be to enjoy these hours. What I miss about being a golfer is not winning or playing well, it is practicing as hard as possible to reach a specific goal in mind (e.g. A tiny part of my body’s movement).
